Crimping machines

Iwasaki has several tens of crimping machines offering compatibility with a wide range of applicators allowing a variety of products to be crimped.

Fully-auto double-end crimping machines

KIKUSUI

Terminal model numbers, wire sizes, strip length, and crimp height work conditions are automatically read to the unit with an ID tag built into the 10,000 wires/hour applicator.
Computer control is employed to realize accurate, mass-production crimping.

Automatic terminal strip cutters

These cutters are capable of automatically stripping, measuring the length of, and cutting coaxial cable terminals.

JumboCutter cable cutters (JC4285)

KIKUSUI

These cutters are capable of automatically measuring the length of, and cutting round cables with maximum diameter of 20 mm and flat cables with maximum width of 85 mm with high accuracy. They also perform linked operation with a supply unit and take-up unit.

Jacket strippers

KIKUSUI

These are used to peel off the outer coating of thick cables. Settings can be stored for each part number.

Lead wire twisters with tension function

KIKUSUI

Chucking is performed with ease (also compatible with crimped cables), wires can be twisted to the desired pitch, and there is no unwinding. When twisting lead wires, constant tension is applied to prevent flexure in twisted sections.
(Tension is variable, and can be set freely.)

This machine performs low-pressure molding while pouring hotmelt into a mold. This is effective for waterproofing and wire break prevention.

This machine can handle a variety of molding materials. It is compact, and has excellent maneuverability. It is the perfect solution for bushing molding.

High-frequency soldering irons

KIKUSUI

Iwasaki’s soldering irons use the IH (induction heating) principle. One of the great features of these irons is their extremely fast temperature feedback. From extremely large soldering, to minute soldering, all applications can be handled with a single iron. Iwasaki has approximately 70 of these soldering irons.

Spot welders

Spot welders are used to ensure a powerful hold at welded locations.
They are useful for locations such as those for which soldering, etc. cannot be used.

UV-LED irradiation units

KIKUSUI

These units are compatible with a variety of hardening and securing applications such as processing machines which use UV irradiation to perform hardening, securing fine wire coaxial cables, detailed parts on PBS, and surfaces.

These machines literally use ultrasonic waves to perform welding. They can be used for applications such as wire connection other soldering or laser processing.

Automatic material cutters

These cutters are used mainly for length measurement cutting of heat shrink tubing. They can also be used for cutting tape, etc.

Hydrogen gas generators

KIKUSUI

Water is electrolyzed to produce hydrogen and oxygen, allowing non-contact soldering to be performed for coaxial lines and precision devices with a clean flame.

Compact plunger forming machines

These are compact, air-driven injection molding machines. They are capable of molding using a variety of materials. They are also capable of hotmelt molding. They can also be used to perform compact insert molding

IH spot reflow

KIKUSUI

Metal parts only are heated without contact using the IH (induction heating) principle, allowing solder to be applied to materials such as PET, paper, and cloth.
Solder can also be applied to materials such as glass, ceramics, and plastic.

Clean room

KIKUSUI

Iwasaki’s clean room has a cleanliness class of 1,000 or lower. We currently use this room for processing connectors for semiconductor inspection equipment.

Automatic soldering robots

KIKUSUI

The robot is an all-in-one soldering robot equipped with a solder feed controller and built-in programming software. All operations, including setting soldering conditions such as solder supply quantity and heating time, can be centrally managed with a tablet PC provided as standard.

Laser welders

KIKUSUI

This is a 100 W laser welder. Welding is possible in an argon gas atmosphere. Welding positions can be determined easily while viewing the LCD monitor. Settings can also be specified at the touch panel.

Pulse heat machines

These machines are capable of batch soldering wires such as ultra-fine coaxial cables to connectors and PCBs. Iwasaki manufactures and uses the optimum heaters by leveraging our accumulated know-how.
